Lithographs

Assisi

The Assisi series of black and white photographs, ink wash drawings, and lithographs was inspired by a day of walking through the medieval Italian hill town of Assisi, home of Saints Francis and Clare. The lithographs are shown here.

These large lithographs were printed on two pieces of Rives BFK paper, which form a vertical diptych. They were printed at 107 Workshop, Wiltshire, England in 1982 with Jack Shirreff, master printer.  Assisi IV was completed by adding a third color plate at Robert Blackburn's Printmaking Workshop in New York City.

These hand-printed limited edition lithographs are included in public and private collections.

Work by artists who created prints at 107 Workshop are also available in the U.K. in the JRS Collection, now located in Perth, Scotland.
