Bronx Council on the Arts

2022 BRIO Award (Bronx Recognizes Its Own) artist fellowships have been awarded by Bronx Council of the Arts to Bronx artists in a broad range of disciplines. I am honored to have received a BRIO Award in painting for a series of watercolor paintings, Flower of Pelargonium sidoides, part of an ongoing project, Plant Cure.

2019 BRIO Award (Bronx Recognizes Its Own) award by Bronx Council of the Arts to 43 Bronx artists, who received BCA's BRIO award in a June 11 presentation at the Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance. I am honored to have received a BRIO Award in painting for a series of oil on panel paintings of Roanheads, Peterhead, Scotland.

2014 BRIO Award (Bronx Recognizes It Own) Awarded by Bronx Council on the Arts to 25 Bronx artists, who received BCA's BRIO Award in a June 4th presentation at the Longwood Art Gallery @ Hostos. I am honored to have received a BRIO Award in printmaking this year for the Approaching Slains Castle series of monotypes: see "Art Works: Monotypes."

This is my second BRIO award, the first was for printmaking in 2005.

Printmaking Center of New Jersey
I had the privilege of writing the prospectus and curating/jurying the upcoming exhibit, Structure at the Printmaking Center of New Jersey, in Branchburg.
